Clarens Chéridieu
Director of Player Personnel
Clarens Chéridieu rejoins D.C. United as the Director of Player Personnel after serving as Loudoun United FC’s Assistant General Manager, where he worked in soccer operations, player evaluation and recruitment, and culture building.
Chéridieu was a key figure in the Loudoun United FC front office that launched the club and opened Segra Field in 2019. During his time with the USL Championship side, Chéridieu worked closely with several current and former D.C. United players including Ted Ku-Dipietro, Jackson Hopkins, Kevin Paredes, Matai Akinmboni, Donovan Pines, and Kristian Fletcher. He has also spent time scouting players both domestically and internationally while building relationships with players, agents, and clubs in Europe, Africa, and South America.
Prior to his tenure with Loudoun United FC, Chéridieu’s first stint with D.C. United began in 2018 when he coached the D.C. United Academy U-19’s.
Born and raised in St. Mark, Haiti, Chéridieu is the first person in his family to graduate from college: he was a leader on the men's soccer team while attending Emory & Henry College in Virginia. Chéridieu is fluent in English, Creole, and French.
