Jake is Chairman of Stormlight Ventures, his family's private investment platform, and Co-Founder and Chairman of Enfield Investment Partners, a global sports-focused investment firm launched in 2025 with an anchor strategic partnership from PIF's sports arm SURJ.
Jake is an experienced sports team owner and board member across men's and women's sports, spanning four countries. In addition to co-owner of D.C. United, he is co-owner of the Brisbane Bullets (NBL, Australia) and a board member of Al-Ahli FC (Saudi Pro League) — the first foreign national to serve on the board of a Saudi football club. Previously, he was a co-owner and director of Swansea City AFC, and co-owner of and Alternate Governor for Houston Dynamo FC and the Houston Dash. Jake joined MLS's Board of Governors in 2015 and has served on the league's Business Ventures committee.
Through Stormlight, Jake invests globally across sectors and has served on boards and built businesses in North America, Europe, MENA, Australia, and New Zealand. He is active in the business communities in Israel and the Gulf region, particularly Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Bahrain, and is a committed supporter of Jewish causes and coexistence initiatives in the Middle East.  His portfolio outside of sports includes early backing of Lyft, Devoted Health, Virta Health, and Commonwealth Fusion Systems. He entered university at 15 and earned a B.A. in Pure Mathematics, and later an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan. Jake is a Vision Circle member of the XPRIZE Foundation.
