D.C. United Academy goalkeeper Mikah Seger (Indian Head, Md.), and center back Avery Miles (Washington, D.C.), have been called in to the U-15 U.S. Boy's National Team training camp to take place in Chula Vista, Calif., from March 4-11. Seger and Miles play for D.C. United Academy's U-14 side.
Of the 36 players called into camp by coach Dave Van den Bergh, 32 are currently playing in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy.
Fourteen players are making their debut with the U-15 BNT this cycle, which also means that this is their first call up to a Youth National Team camp. Of the 27 clubs represented in the camp, MLS newcomer Los Angeles Football Club leads the way with three of its U-14 Academy players on the roster.
The U-15 BNT are set to play two matches during their training camp—on Wednesday, March 7, the U-15s will take on FC Golden State, and on Saturday, March 10, they will face a TBD opponent.
