Goalkeeper Bill Hamid has been named to MLS Team of the Week for Week 23 for his performance in Montreal Saturday night.
Hamid made 8 saves to help preserve D.C. United's 1-0 win over the Impact at the Stade Saputo.
The 24-year-old 'keeper was a crucial member of the Black-and-Red on a historic night, where D.C. United became the first team in league history to win a game scoring one goal from one total shot.
Hamid had been out for over a month following surgeries to his hand and knee since June 27, when he made three saves in a 0-0 draw with Toronto FC.
