Bobby Boswell has been named to the MLS Team of the Week for his performance in D.C. United's 3-0 victory over the New England Revolution on Saturday, April 23. The Black-and-Red captain led the back line in the team's third shutout of the season, and has now played all 90 minutes of every game this season. Boswell led all MLS field players in minutes last season while recently surpassing 150 appearances for United. The 33-year-old has played at least 2800 minutes every year since 2012, and no player started more games from 2014-2015.
Patrick Nyarko and Ćlvaro SaborĆo were named to the bench for the Team of the Week for their performances against the Revs. SaborĆo provided the assist for Acosta's first career MLS goal (and Goal of the Week nominee) before scoring United's third. Nyarko led the team with five tackles on Saturday.
