United forward Bruno Miranda has been called up to the Bolivian National Team for their March 23 friendly against CuraƧao at Stadion Ergilio Hato in Willemstad, CuraƧao. This will be Bolivia and CuraƧao's first-ever meeting.
Miranda will be looking for his fourth cap with Bolivia. The striker made his international debut on May 29, 2016, entering as a second-half substitute against the U.S. as an 18-year-old. His most recent appearance came on June 3, 2017, when he started and played a full 90 minutes in Bolivia's international friendly against Nicaragua.
Miranda joined the Black-and-Red when United acquired him from Club Universidad de Chile in exchange for Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) on Aug. 4, 2017. Since coming to the District, the 20-year-old has made five appearances and logged 53 minutes for United. Miranda will join United's USL affiliate, the Richmond Kickers, on loan this season.
