D.C. United and Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic have announced the addition of two D.C. United matches to its previously announced schedule of live Black-and-Red coverage this season: United at Real Salt Lake on Aug. 9 at 10 p.m. and against the Colorado Rapids on Aug. 17 at 8 p.m.
Comcast SportsNet’s 16-game schedule, which will kick-off when D.C. United faces the Timbers in Portland on Saturday, May 3, at 10:30 p.m., is set to include all but two games through Aug. 27. The network’s live coverage will be led by veteran play-by-play announcer Dave Johnson, who has held this position since the team’s inaugural season in 1996, and first-year analyst Santino Quaranta, a Baltimore native and former D.C. United midfielder.
Comcast SportsNet will present pre- and post-game shows, D.C. United Central and D.C. United Postgame Live, surrounding select games, as well as other team-related programming. Comcast SportsNet will also continue to deliver comprehensive coverage of D.C. United across its news and digital media platforms.
