D.C. United Announce Multi-Year Partnership Extension with Heineken USA

WASHINGTON, D.C. (January 18, 2022) ā€“ D.C. United have today announced that the club and Heineken USA have agreed a multi-year partnership extension, which includes the beverage company being named as the official and exclusive beer sponsor of D.C. United.

ā€œOur partnership with Heineken sets a standard for how two parties can come together and align on a shared mission ā€“ in this case, enhancing fan experience and taking it to new heights,ā€ said Danita Johnson, President of Business Operations for D.C. United. ā€œThe partnership has been fan-focused since day one and weā€™re proud to continue to evolve and expand our collective impact on delivering the best sport outing experience in the region with Heineken for years to come.ā€

D.C. United and Heineken have had a long-standing relationship that was elevated with the clubs move into beautiful Audi Field, their new state-of-the-art soccer specific stadium, located in the fastest growing neighborhood of downtown Washington, D.C just a mile from the National Mall.

As the relationship expands between the two, Heineken will maintain the naming entitlement to the Heineken Rooftop, one of the best viewing experiences in Major League Soccer, located at the north-end of Audi Field. Heineken will also have naming entitlement to Heineken Hall, an exciting food, beverage, and entertainment area located on the east side easement of the main course at Audi Field often complete with live music and entertainment on matchday.

Additionally, Heineken will continue in their presenting partner role for all D.C. United away match watch parties, hosted by a variety of local establishments around the capital city throughout the season.
