WASHINGTON, D.C. (June 20, 2023) - D.C. United defender Mohanad Jeahze will undergo surgery on June 21 after sustaining a right ankle fracture and dislocation at training on June 14. Team Orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Jeffrey Giuliani and Dr. Stephen Malekzadeh, of Inova Sports Medicine, will perform the surgery. Jeahze is expected to be sidelined for the remainder of the 2023 MLS season as he rehabilitates from the injury and will be placed on the Season-Ending Injury List.
