WASHINGTON, D.C. (Dec. 19, 2023) – D.C. United have selected Georgetown University Forward Jacob Murrell with the 7th overall selection in the First Round of the 2024 MLS SuperDraft presented by adidas.
Murrell scored 18 goals and recorded 8 assists in 40 appearances (34 starts) for Georgetown University from 2022 to 2023. In 2023, Murrell scored 11 goals and recorded four assists in 19 appearances.
