Washington, D.C. (Oct. 13, 2026) – D.C. United will close the 2026 season by honoring people who powered it. After the club’s Fan Appreciation Match Presented by Audi against New York City FC on Saturday, Nov. 7, players will take part in Jerseys Off Their Backs. First Team members will present their jerseys on the field to select supporters and partners.

The post-match moment recognizes the supporters and partners who made the 2026 season memorable. It also gives fans a chance to take home a piece of the season. Selected fans will be invited onto the field after the match to receive a jersey directly from a player, followed by a photo and autograph opportunity.

Five additional player jerseys will be auctioned through the D.C. United Foundation’s online auction platform. All proceeds support the Foundation’s work to expand equitable access and level the playing field for individuals and families across the region. Bidding is open now and will close at the end of halftime on Saturday, Nov. 7.

“Our fans are the heart of this club, and Fan Appreciation Night is our chance to thank them for a season of unwavering support,” said Shanell Mosley, Senior Director, Community Impact & Executive Director of D.C. United Foundation. “Jerseys Off Their Backs creates a moment our supporters won’t forget. Through the auction, that moment reaches beyond the stadium and helps fund the Foundation’s signature programs for youth and families across the DMV.”
