Sean Franklin and Lamar Neagle have been named to EA Sports FIFA Team of the Week for their performances in United's 2-0 victory over the New England Revolution on Saturday.
Neagle, who has also been named to the MLS Team of the Week, opened the scoring for the Black-and-Red in the 20th minute. Luciano Acosta floated a cross to the back post, where Neagle hit a right-footed volley across Brad Knighton and into the back of the net. The goal has also been nominated for AT&T Goal of the Week, and Neagle is also ranked ninth in MLS in the Audi MLS Player Index.
Later in the first half, Neagle turned provider, playing a low cross into the box for Franklin, who had continued his run and finished the move with an emphatic one-time shot.
United return to action Friday against Real Salt Lake on UniMás.
