United midfielder Lamar Neagle has been named to the MLS Team of the Week for his performances against Columbus Crew SC and Toronto FC. The 29-year-old made his 20th start for United on Saturday in Canada and was the man of the match, scoring a goal on either side of halftime. Neagle tied the game in the 39th minute, heading home from a yard out, before scoring the game-winner with a perfectly timed run and finish over Clint Irwin in the 58th minute.

On Wednesday against Crew SC, Neagle scored an insurance goal in the 86th minute.
Neagle has now notched a goal or an assist in each of his last three matches and five of his last six. Lloyd Sam, who provided the assist for Neagle's game-winner against Toronto, made the bench. The Ghanaian has also recorded a goal or an assist in each of his last three games, including one goal against both Orlando City SC and Columbus.
