Lloyd Sam's assist named best of the week | Week 8

Now in his sixth season in Major League Soccer, Lloyd Sam is known around the league as a proven chance creator and excellent distributor in the final third.  In United's 2-2 draw against the New England Revolution, the Ghanaian was at his best again, playing a perfectly-weighted through ball behind the Revs' defense and hitting SĆ©bastien Le Toux in stride.  The Frenchman, who made his 200th career MLS start, chipped the ball over Cody Cropper for the Black-and-Red's second goal of the match.

Some great helpers this week.

The assist was Lloyd's 30th career regular season MLS assist, good for 19th among active players.
