D.C. United News

The Black-and-Red are coming off a 1-0 win against FC Cincinnati after traveling to TQL Stadium for their first road game of the season on March 5. Ola Kamara scored the game-winning goal in the 98th minute from the penalty spot for his second goal in consecutive games. D.C. United have Russell Canouse in their injury list, with Jeremy Garay and Nigel Robertha coming off the list.

Head Coach Hernán Losada on Upcoming Match:

“It's the first time since 1999 that United has taken six out of six points at the start of the season, so that's a great start. Apart from who you play against, all the points count the same at the beginning or the end. So I'm very pleased with the six out of six and with the mentality, even with ten players, not only holding the zero, but also going at the very end to have a chance to score a goal. The players' mentality has been amazing, so all the credit for them, for the six points.”

“Where do we want to improve? Everywhere. In all the different moments of the game, we need to improve on the ball, off the ball, in transition, we need to improve, and we need to get better. But it's normal that we're still not there at the start.”

Chicago Fire FC News

Chicago Fire FC are coming off a 0-0 draw against Orlando City SC in their home opener. The team have ended up their first two matches of the season in scoreless draws. After being listed as injured, Carlos Terán Díaz and Rafael Czichos will not feature in the match.
