Steven Birnbaum has been named to the U.S. Men's National Team after U.S. head coach Jurgen Klinsmann made four additions to roster for the January camp training in Carson, Calif.

Goalkeeper David Bingham, defenders Birnbaum and Brandon Vincent, and midfielder Perry Kitchen will report to the National Training Center for the start of training Monday.

San Jose Earthquakes midfielder Fatai Alashe (groin) and defender Marc Pelosi (tendinitis) have withdrawn from the camp roster.
The camp, which runs from Jan. 11-Feb. 6 and contains a mix of Senior Team members and a host of players age-eligible for the U-23 MNT, will culminate with friendlies against Iceland on Jan. 31 and Canada on Feb. 5. Both matches will be played at StubHub Center in Carson.

Birnbaum and Kitchen both made their MNT debut during last yearā€™s January camp. Birnbaum started in the USAā€™s 3-2 loss against sixth-ranked Chile, while Kitchen contributed to the 2-0 win against Panama on Feb. 8 at StubHub Center.

This will be the first senior national team camp for Bingham and Brandon Vincent. The 26-year-old Bingham played every minute in goal for San Jose in the 2015 season. Having participated in the U.S. Under-23 MNT College Identification Training Camp in August last year, Vincent joins fellow former Stanford Cardinal and NCAA champion Jordan Morris in Carson.
