Tune in to D.C. United's Twitter tonight, March 26, at 7:15 PM ET to watch the Black-and-Red's U-17 Academy team take on Germany's Eintracht Frankfurt in the Generation adidas Cup Finals—one of the world's premier youth soccer tournaments.
The Academy's third match of the Generation adidas Cup Finals will be live streamed on D.C. United's Twitter and on Major League Soccer's YouTube channel starting at 7:15. The Black-and-Red qualified for the final round of GA Cup action in Frisco, Texas, following a strong showing in an earlier portion of the tournament in Atlanta over Presidents' Day weekend.
Tonight will be United's third Group A Champions Division match—the U-17s fell to Argentina's River Plate 1-0 on March 23, then fell to Toronto FC 2-0 on March 25. With two tough losses behind them, the Black-and-Red will be pushing to upset their German opponents and ending their Group A campaign on a high note.
Eintracht Frankfurt opened group play with a dominant 3-0 win over Toronto FC, but were later defeated handily by River Plate 3-1. With Frankfurt and Toronto FC now tied in the Group A standings, the German side will be determined to capture one more win with the hopes of solidifying their second-place spot in the group, or potentially jumping into first place.
Fans can follow along live tonight via United's Twitter stream or the streams above and below.
