Luca Farina

Scouting Coordinator

Luca Farina has been with  D.C. United Academy since 2018 as an Academy Scout. Before arriving at D.C. United, he worked for Stevenson University where he was the Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, he was a four-year starter at Mount Aloysius College (NCAA DIII). Luca currently holds a Sports Management Worldwide Soccer Management and Scouting Certificate, the IPSO Youth Scouting Certificate, and Pro Football Scouting Association Level 2 Certificate in Talent Identification.

“My favorite player is Andrea Pirlo, I love the way he played the game and he was a one-of-a-kind player. My favorite Coach is Antonio Conte as I love his style of play and the way he coaches.”
