D.C. United hosted dozens of kids with special needs at a Saturday afternoon soccer clinic on RFKās training field.
The event was organized by Dreams For Kids D.C., a local non-profit that strives to empower children with physical and developmental disabilities through social activities and events.
More than 50 children from across the D.C. region participated in the event taking part in a variety of soccer stations that included shooting, passing and dribbling drills.
D.C. United defender and Dreams for Kids D.C. ambassador Sean Franklin hosted the event along with defender Kofi Opare. This is the third consecutive year that Sean and United have teamed up with Dream for Kids D.C. to host clinics for their youth.
