D.C. United are encouraging fans who attend the Black-and-Red's match against the Philadelphia Union on Saturday, August 6, to donate new school supplies during a back-to-school collection at RFK Stadium. All supplies collected will benefit the team’s DCPS Adopt-A-School partner: Jefferson Academy, located in Southwest D.C.
New school supply items will be collected outside Gate A and collections will begin an hour and a half prior to kick-off, closing 15 minutes into the first half. All fans who donate will be entered into a raffle to win a 2016 team signed ball and a 1996 D.C. United throwback t-shirt.
