2016
Rolfe started the first nine matches of the 2016 season before suffering a season-ending concussion against his former club the Chicago Fire on April 30, 2016. He recorded his first and only assist of the season on April 2 in San Jose.
2015
Rolfe enjoyed a career year with the Black-and-Red in 2015. He scored a career- high 10 goals, added four assists and led the team in goals, total shots and shots on goal. Rolfe scored five game-winning goals, including penalty kicks against New England and Philadelphia as well as a goal coming off the bench against Orlando City on May 13. In the first game of the season against Montreal, he recorded the assist on the game’s only goal.
2014
Rolfe made two appearances (one start) with the Chicago Fire before moving to D.C., where he scored in the 93rd minute of his debut in a 2-0 win over New England. Rolfe finished with six goals and six assists in 21 appearances (20 starts) for the Black-and-Red, including becoming the 38th player in MLS history to score 50 regular season goals after scoring the lone goal in a 1-0 win over the Philadelphia Union on May 10. Had a goal and an assist in 2-0 win over Houston on May 21 and in a 3-0 win at Sporting Kansas City on Aug. 23. He missed the final eight games of the regular season with a fractured arm suffered in training in September before returning to action in the playoffs.
2013
Appeared in 31 games for Chicago, starting 26, and scored four goals and added one assist … U.S. Open Cup: Started all four matches as the Fire reached the semifinals … Scored in the 57th minute of a 2-0 victory over the Charlotte Eagles on May 29 … Assisted on Patrick Nyarko’s game-winning goal in the 77th minute of a 2-1 victory over the Columbus Crew on June 13 … Scored two goals in the 5-1 victory over Orlando City on June 26.

Started in 19 of his 22 matches with the Fire, scoring 8 goals and 3 assists … Led team in scoring and was voted club MVP by members of the media … After rejoining the club in April, scored in the 81st minute of his second match in the Fire’s 3-1 win over NY on June 17 … Assisted in Marco Pappa’s 58th-minute game winning goal vs. SKC on June 29 … Opened the Fire’s match on Aug. 18 vs. NE with an unassisted goal in the fifth minute … Scored back-to-back goals three minutes apart (23’ and 26’) in the Fire’s 3-1 win over CLB on Sept. 22 … Assisted on Sherjill MacDonald’s 65th-minute goal in a 2-0 win over NY on Oct. 6. Started and played all 90 minutes in the Fire’s 2-1 loss to the Houston Dynamo in the MLS Cup Playoffs knockout match on Oct. 31.

Rolfe earned his first cap with the United States national team during a friendly in Scotland on November 12, 2005. Went on to appear 10 times, registering one assist for the U.S. Men’s National Team.
