Year Round Program

The RDS Select program will operate year round in order to maximize contact time with top players in the DMV as well as best prepare for higher level competition and events. At this time, MLS events in each age group will be scheduled for the Summer and Winter seasons (in order to minimize impact on club soccer commitments). There is the potential for additional events, games and tournaments in each age group, subject to availability and overall feasibility (up to and including international tournaments)

Selection Processes:

Each season, all age groups will see new players evaluated in the training environment, with a potential to be added to the RDS Select program.

Players currently within the program are constantly being evaluated. Each six months, the RDS Select squads will be adjusted, with potential for new players to be added to the group, and current players monitored back in their club environments and RDS Training Clinics. Players will receive a notification email of their status upon the conclusion of the Winter and Summer seasons.
