D.C. United are committed to improving the quality of life for individuals and kids in the DMV area through service and leadership. Using soccer as its platform, D.C. United strives to build stronger communities by partnering with local nonprofit organizations and forging the path to inspire and drive positive impact. Our three community values are Empowerment, Opportunity, and Service.

Empowerment

• Growing the game of soccer with free programming, quality fields and exposing groups to our great game
• Creating a path for educational access and success including mentoring, professional coaching and skills training
• Providing health, fitness and mental health programming and resources

Opportunity

• Offering programming to foster upward mobility and economic empowerment
• Fostering and supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the DMV and within the game of soccer 

Service

• Honoring and celebrating those who have served others by partnering with organizations who support military, veterans, teachers, frontline workers, social workers, first responders and their families
• Strengthening communities through our commitment to service and volunteerism
